“I just don’t think dropping bombs on innocent civillians who aren’t involved in a conflict is okay.” Neither do I.

None of that is okay and there are times I wish I could do more for them. Back in reality, I'm more concerned about surviving in the U.S. The more I listen and read, the more I keep asking myself, should I stay or should I go?

I have to try and be patient when all of my instincts are telling me that the economy is going to fail badly within the next twelve months or so. I have to keep telling myself that selling everything off and making a run for it before I can't is not the right thing to do yet. That things aren't that bad yet.

So when will it be that bad? That's the existential question right now. So, now I watch and wait.

I spent a large amount of my adult life fighting wars in the middle east and as long as the United States obsesses over the oil, they will always be starting wars there. I gave up years ago because it's fruitless trying to stop them. All we can do is help in whatever small ways we can to support the innocents who always seem to get in the way of the empire, much like the people did in Europe and west Asia during the time of the Romans.
