As an IS person I have no regard at all for J.K.Rowling. I have read what you have written Sam and I accept your point of view and the arguments you have made, but as for myself I wouldn't spit on her if she was on fire.
You know, after reading your reply I actually did some thinking and re-read this piece. I went through and added some edits to the end to further clarify my thinking - I realized I didn't really dig into my thoughts and I came across a little too lukewarm on Rowling.

Here’s the fun part about that, Mich — she didn’t include characters who were gay.
She announced Dumbledore was gay outside of the books. It wasn’t once mentioned in the books themselves. The nearest we get is a misty eyed look from Dumbledore when talking to Harry in the train station.
He is never once shown to be gay in the books, nor is any other character.
She just claimed credit for it from her readers without actually including any representation at all.

No Sam I didn’t see you as being weak on Rowling. If anything I thought I came across as being a bit too fierce.
