I'm old enough to remember seeing children a little older than myself in my neighbourhood who had survived Polio. Cripples people called them in those non PC times. As a child I wondered what had happened to them. When I asked my Mum she said it was Polio, but of course I didn't know what that was and it frightened me that I might get it.

Anti-vaxxers have only got away with their nonsense because they have been living in a world where vaccines exist and have been given to most children from an early age. Banish vaccines and these idiots will soon discover what it was like living in the 19th century when epidemics would kill people in their hundreds and child deaths were commonplace.

Yup. It's like I said in my old article about raw milk; a lot of people have been spoiled by living in a modern world with all of our safeguards. They don't know what life looks like without them.

I get your point, but there are enough horrible things going on in this world without imagining something like that. I try to stay positive as much as possible, but it is becoming increasingly more difficult!

I understand completely! But still, it's a possibility we need to consider so we can be prepared should it happen.

The issue of childhood vaccination is about to become a very real concern, and potentially lead to quite a few serious outbreaks of disease. RFK Jr.'s rhetoric has already been linked to a mass death event of young children in Samoa, so it's not even hypothetical.

I agree! We have to be prepared for almost anything these days. I am 75 years old, and I would NEVER have expected us to be in such a mess, with such an idiotic asshole in charge of our country! It is TERRIFYING !
