This is the new world we find ourselves in. One of denial for a fast buck. Sell whatever snake oil the rubes will buy instead of working at a job where they might break a sweat.

Even the influencers have trouble keeping up the Wellness hustle. As you stated only the rich with more time and money can seem to keep up.

Absolutely. And the people who watch them and read those blogs are just their customers - it's the same as the old lifestyle or beauty magazines that convinced so many young AFAB people that they need to go to insane lengths to be 'pretty' enough.

It's a scam that leads to people measuring each other by how well they live up to the fiction. It's horrible for your mental health and is viciously counterproductive. Yet another symptom of a society that values profit over people, unfortunately.
